I love to paint, and typically paint every day. I thought it would be fun to blog each day about my paintings, and what intrigued me to do each painting. I not only love to paint; I love to talk about painting; so bloging seemed like a natural extension of my painting process.
This was fun to paint, with the bold red colors of the apples and the variety of yellows in the daisy. I'm liking using a palette knife for flowers, it seems to work well to form petals. I'm trying to use a variety of brush and palette marks to create each painting.
This is wonderful, Gail. I like the palette knife for petals idea. Just read about an artist that uses his finger, with nitrile gloves on of course... safety first. Nice meeting you through this challenge, we're almost there!!!
